| Meeting description Tuesday September 28th Wednesday September 29th Thursday September 30th Friday October 1st | The Center for Pharmaceutical Processing Research (CPPR) has presented symposia on freeze-drying at Ascutney, Vermont in 1998, and at Breckenridge, CO in 2001, 2004 and 2008. The first meeting 2006 in Europe in collaboration with the University of Munich (LMU) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was a great success. Researchers from all relevant areas of freeze-drying of pharmaceuticals and biologicals get together to discuss the critical aspects and new developments in the field. The topics include: material sciences, biotech formulation, technical operations and PAT. Special emphasis of the meeting is on exchange and networking in a relaxing but focused atmosphere.The symposium will begin with an informal snack lunch welcome reception on Wednesday, September 29th.
